Health centers are ready to welcome refugees
A working group to coordinate the temporary accommodation of forcibly displaced persons has been established within the government of Tatarstan. First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Rustam Nigmatullin chaired it, said the head of the press service of the President of Tatarstan Liliya Galimova.
The first meeting of the working group took place in the Cabinet of Ministers on 21 February. It included representatives from the Ministry of Civic Defense and Emergencies, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Transport and Roads, the Ministry of Education and Science, Ministry of Youth, Ombudspersons for Human Rights and Children’s Rights. etc
It was said at the meeting that 1,000 people from the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic were ready to be received. The Santa, Zhemchuzhina, Livadia, Vasilyevsky health centers were chosen to accommodate them. They are completely ready.
A train with refugees was soon to arrive in Tatarstan. Upon arrival in Kazan, people will travel to their place of temporary residence by bus. Hot meals will be provided to them and medical advice if necessary.
