Tatarstan will increase subsidies for transport and medicine —

Transport and medicine subsidies as well as other monthly payments will increase in Tatarstan from January 1, 2023, Realnoe Vremya found out. Their amounts have not yet been approved, they are specified in the draft decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic.

Thus, from the beginning of next year, subsidies for the transport of orphans, legally free children as well as students who study in schools and colleges “until they obtain their diploma but before their 18 years” from large families will amount to 354 rubles. This year it is 333 rubles.

Subsidies for drugs for a child under six from families with three or more children under 18, including adopted children, will increase by 9 rubles. From the beginning of next year, 158 rubles will be paid.

The monthly payment for families with children whose per capita income is above the minimum wage established in Tatarstan will increase:

  • from 362 to 385 rubles for a child under the age of 16 (study in a school until graduation but only before turning 18);
  • from 955 to 1,014 rubles for a child of a single mother;
  • from 540 to 573 rubles for a child whose parents refuse to pay alimony or in other cases where alimony cannot be claimed;
  • from 540 to 573 rubles for a child of military personnel serving as a sergeant, foreman, soldier or sailor as well as in the event that the father of the child is in a military college before signing a contract for military service.

8.8 rubles will be donated to provide students of state and municipal schools and colleges with meals. This year the sum is 8.3 rubles.

Tatarstan’s Cabinet of Ministers decree confirming monthly installments and other payments in 2022 was signed by Prime Minister Alexey Pesochin last September. The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of Tatarstan is responsible for monitoring the execution.
