Fall in fuel sales in Tatarstan — RealnoeVremya.com
Sales of liquid fuel are falling in Tatarstan. Head of the Bureau for Rational Use and Quality of Fuels and Energy Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Robert Gilyaziyev told Realnoe Vremya about it during a live broadcast.
3 million tons of liquid fuel were sold in 2019 before the pandemic. 1.65 million tons of liquid fuel were sold in 2020 and 2.43 million tons in 2020.
“2020 has been such a year, a time of acute pandemic. We called these reasons because a number of companies reduced the amount of commodity production and individuals did not drive cars as much. 2021 was not so strict, anyway there was a drop. Not the consequences of the pandemic but the transition from transport to compressed gas in our republic explains a certain fall, ”explained Robert Gilyaziyev.
He added that today 37 stations sell this gas. It is planned to build 22 more stations.
Gas station owners should start thinking about optimizing the number of gas stations, Robert Gilyaziyev thinks. Some service stations sell less than 1,000 liters of fuel per day. As little as 7,000 liters per day must be sold for normal operation. Consequently, many are trying to raise fuel prices to stay profitable.
